In 2003, it is found that the poor community people of the rural areas of Kadompur have been facing various social, economical, humanitarian and environmental barriers. Though several NGO’s and Government Departments are working together with sincere efforts to reduce poverty and achieve a healthy society but these supports do not fulfill their basic needs as the vulnerable people have no way to cross their endangered position towards the development platform.

Considering the vulnerability of the community people, some energetic, social minded youths took initiatives under the leadership of Md. Mahabub Hossain in a small sizes, like education, health support and use of micro finance supports through group formation for the improvement of socio economic & health status and the present LEYA came into existence as a non political, non profitable, non government & charitable society.
